Student Accounts

ABOUT Student Accounts

The Office of Student Accounts makes providing professional, responsive and efficient service to the students of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College a priority. We are determined to meet this commitment.

We provide financial services that enable the institution to more effectively fulfill our mission of research, teaching and learning, and outreach. We are honored to serve the ABAC campus!

ABAC students are the backbone of our institution. Below are key services we provide specifically to students to help you meet your financial responsibilities while pursuing your educational goals:

  • We assess, bill, and collect your tuition, fees, and other charges.
  • We issue refunds from credit balances on your student account.
  • If your education is being paid for by a third party such as a government or company, we bill the sponsor on your behalf.
  • We assist you with the set up of the Nelnet payment plan.
  • We can assist you with setting up direct deposit for your excess funds.

Cost of Attendance

It is important that you know what types of charges will be on your Student Account. The following links will show you tuition and fees as well as housing and dining costs.

Ways to Pay

Please review the details to each payment method and decide which will be most beneficial for you. You must have a payment arrangement in place by the payment due date or your class registration may be canceled.  Below is a link to the Funding Road Map that has helpful steps and deadline dates.

The fee payment deadline for Spring Semester 2020 is
Tuesday, January 7, 2020.

The fee payment deadline for Summer Semester 2020 is
Tuesday, May 19, 2020.

If you are unable to attend, it is up to you to drop your courses.  The only way to get a 100% credit of your tuition and mandatory fee charges is to drop your courses by the add/drop deadline. If you remain registered past the add/drop deadline, you are no longer eligible for a 100% credit of tuition and mandatory fees.  See the withdrawal refund schedule for details about pro-rated credits of tuition and mandatory fees when you withdraw completely from the semester.

Veterans Affairs

The ABAC Office of Student Accounts serves as a liaison between the school and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) regarding VA Education Benefits. Our goal in serving VA students is to certify the enrollment of students using VA Education Benefits to the Department of Veterans Affairs. All eligibility for education benefits is determined by the Department of Veterans Affairs and not ABAC.

Waivers (Tuition and Fees)

Tuition waivers are considered to be financial assistance and are awarded by the Office of Admissions.  Tuition waivers must be processed by the fee payment deadline, or you will be required to choose another method to pay your balance. Certain students may be eligible for other types of tuition waivers or waiver of mandatory fees.

Refund Flier

Most refunds fall into one of two categories.  If your student account shows a credit balance, you may be entitled to receive an excess balance refund.   Also, if you have $10.00 or more in your General Funds (Gold Card Account), you may request a refund.

We have partnered with BankMobile to deliver your excess balance/financial aid refunds.  You can choose to have your refund deposited electronically to your existing account or deposited to a BankMobile Vibe checking account.

Designate Your Excess Balance Refund Preference
