Both virtual and physical orientations will help you:
Orientation
Orientation is your first step to a bright future at ABAC!
The purpose of New Student Orientation is to ensure that new students have a successful transition and integration into college life at ABAC. Orientation promotes discussion among parents, new students, continuing students, and faculty and staff on the expectations and perceptions of the campus community. All new students and transfer students with less than 30 credit hours are required to attend an in-person orientation session. Transfer students with more than 30 credit hours may complete their orientation process in an entirely online-format–though we’d love to see you on campus if you’d like to attend!
Why is Orientation important?
- Gain a better understanding of the personal and financial responsibilities of attending college
- Learn about campus services, activities, academic resources, and the ABAC experience
- Learn about your academic area of study
- Learn about completing university business, such as getting your Gold Card, talking to Housing, Financial Aid, Student Accounts, etc.
