Bulls and Broncs Rodeo scheduled for Oct. 14

TIFTON – Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College will be holding a Bulls and Broncs rodeo on Oct. 14.
This is the first official fall rodeo the college has held, according to Randi Hickman, ABAC alumni and development coordinator.
“We’ll have bull riding, bareback and saddle bronc riding, as well as entertainment and a great rodeo clown,” Hickman said. “Southern Rodeo Company will be our stock contractor for the evening bringing in some of the best livestock in the industry. For one night only, the toughest cowboys in the Southeast will try their best to make an 8-second ride. It’s sure to be a night of fun and excitement for the whole family.”
She said that there was interest in having a fall rodeo because of the success of the annual rodeo ABAC hosts in the spring.
“The rodeo each spring is such a big tradition that we wanted to bring that excitement to the fall semester, as well as offer another great event on campus for our community to enjoy,” she said.
The rodeo will begin at 6 p.m. at the ABAC rodeo arena. Ticket prices have been set at $15 for adults, $10 for children ages six to 17, and children five and under may attend for free.
