Mr. Carpenter has served as the ABAC Spanish professor for 20 years and currently teaches both F2F courses and online courses for ABAC.
Mr. Carpenter received his B.A. from William Tyndale College in Farmington Hills, Michigan and his M.A. in Spanish from Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan.

ABAC currently offers Span 1001-1002 which are both elementary foreign language courses. Higher intermediate levels are currently offered only through Ecore. Mr. Carpenter has taught both elementary and intermediate Spanish language courses at ABAC in a face to face and online formats.
A new Spanish course is being offered titled "Span 1110" Spanish for the Agricultural Industry. This course is only offered in the Fall of each year.

Mr. Carpenter serves as the the adviser to the ABAC College Republicans on campus and has served in this capacity for many years.
He also serves the community through the use of his language skills.
He is a certified legal interpreter and helps the local courts with interpretation needs when called upon to do so.
