Clinical Trial Study 2. The objective of this study is to perform prostate cancer gene expression characterization of prostate cancer deidentified biospecimens (urine prostate cells, matching biopsy, and prostatectomy specimens).
Clinical activities performed
Study design including IRB approval and liaising with clinical trial manager. Crafting trial documentation e.g. patient consent, sponsored research agreement, budget justification and approvals, scope of work, clinical trial protocol, initial and continued review requirements.
Laboratory activities performed
Prognostic/diagnostic chip-manufacture and analysis. mRNA derived from matched biopsy and prostate tumor samples (deidentified patients) mRNA analysis by Affymetrix array, Nanostring and QT-PCR. Comparative analysis of expression profiles.
