David Edens earned his bachelor's in English from the University of Georgia in 2011 and his master's in library and information studies from the University of North Carolina Greensboro in 2015. A Tifton native, he began working at ABAC in the fall of 2016. Mr. Edens strives to provide the best library support possible to ABAC's students, faculty, and staff.
Mr. Edens does not currently teach any traditional courses. However, he does provide library instruction at faculty request.
Mr. Edens' primary contribution to scholarship at ABAC is through library instruction and one-on-one reference and research assistance. Beyond that, he has presented on new library features at Center for Teaching and Learning events, delivered a talk at the Galileo User Group Meeting conference in 2018, and provides one-on-one in-office support for faculty through the Drop-In Librarian program.
