ABAC Tribute series changing latitudes and attitudes with Jimmy Buffett tribute show

The ABAC Tribute series will be channeling good times at the beach on Tuesday, January 21 with A1A – The Official and Original Jimmy Buffett Tribute Show at Howard Auditorium.

Formed in 1992, A1A has played to countless high-profile clients, Parrot Heads, and fans nationwide during its impressive history. The energy, musicianship, originality, excitement, and continuous honest dedication to preserving Jimmy Buffet's legacy that has always surrounded founder Jeff Pike and A1A performances are an experience and a driving force that has helped the band remain the first, foremost and longest-running Jimmy Buffett Tribute Show in history.

“This fabulous group out of Atlanta is the only Jimmy Buffett tribute that Jimmy Buffett himself ever endorsed,” said Wayne Jones, Arts Connection Director. “Members of A1A have appeared with Jimmy Buffett as guests or even as members of his band repeatedly. This group attracts Parrot Heads and fans nationwide. This is a concert everyone will enjoy!”

The ABAC Tribute series presents original artists and tribute bands representing some of the greatest performers of rock, soul, country and rhythm and blues.

The Tribute Series’ next performance will be “The Highwaymen Show: American Outlaw Tribute” on Thursday, April 3.

All ABAC Tribute Series events begin at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6:30 p.m.
