Roommate Assignments
Room assignments are made per the date on which the Residence Life and Housing Office receive the application and non-refundable reservation fee.
If you desire a specific roommate and/or suitemate, you must identify each requested person. Requests must be mutual, and each roommate/suitemate must have a completed application and paid non-refundable reservation fee on file before the request will be honored. Every attempt will be made to honor these specific requests, and, unless directed otherwise, roommate and suitemate requests will take precedence over other housing option requests (such as those for Living and Learning Communities).
Notification of Room Assignment
Room and roommate or suitemate assignment information is emailed to your ABAC email address. For Fall Semester, the assignment information is emailed on or around July 31st. For Spring Semester, notices are emailed approximately two weeks before the start of the semester. Each assignment email will contain the following information:
- Your building assignment
- Roommate’s or suitemate’s name and email address
- Move-in dates and times for the specific semester
