Yes, you will be assignedone roommate.
The hotels are a short driving distance from campus, either via Interstate 75 or via an in-town route. No shuttle will be available; students without transportation should work with Housing to find on-campus accommodation.
As campus rooms become available, Housing will contact you by email, phone, and through your RA with instructions for moving back to campus.
Yes, the ABAC Police Department will regularly monitor both hotel locations.
Emotional Support and Service Animals are permitted at each locationas they are for the on-campus residence halls. ABAC provides reasonable accommodationfor students with documented disabilities. For an Emotional Support Animal, you must apply to bring your Emotional Support Animal and register with Accommodation & Disability Services.Please visit Residence Life and Housingand Accommodation & Disability Services websites for details. To qualify for this accommodation, you must meet the federal definition of disability and must provide supporting documentation, such as a letter, from a physician or other medical professional, stating that you have a disability and that the Emotional Support Animal provides a benefit to you.
Quiet hours will be enforced as well as all other Residence Life and Housing and Student Code of Conduct guidelines and expectations.Students taking advantage of this housing option will be expected to adhere to the same code of conduct as in the residence halls, with fines for breaking rules and any facility damage being applied to the student’s account. A Residence Assistant (RA) will be located in each building.
