Greetings,
On behalf of the Office of Student Affairs, it is my pleasure to welcome you to Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. We are excited you are here and honored to be part of your college journey.
At ABAC, we believe that education extends far beyond the classroom. Student Affairs is committed to supporting your success through intentional coaching, meaningful engagement, and opportunities for personal growth. Our goal is to help prepare you not only for graduation, but for a fulfilling life beyond college. We are here to advocate for you, challenge you, and support your development every step of the way.
Getting involved in campus life is one of the most rewarding aspects of the college experience. With more than 60 student organizations and a wide variety of programs and activities, there is truly something for everyone. Whether you choose to join a student organization, participate in intramurals, attend athletic events, explore the Thrash Wellness Center, or get involved with Student Government, Campus Activities Board, Ambassadors, The Stallion Newspaper, WPLH radio station, or Greek Life—you will find your place at ABAC.
We also offer a comprehensive range of resources designed to support your well-being and success, including counseling services, the CARE Team, student conduct support, the food pantry, and wellness initiatives. No matter what you may encounter during your time here, you are not alone—we are here to help.
Throughout the year, you will have opportunities to engage in campus traditions and events such as Convocation, Welcome Week, Club Rush, Family Weekend, Homecoming, Fall Festival, and Spring Fling. These experiences are more than events—they are opportunities to connect, build lasting relationships, and create meaningful memories.
Whether you are studying on the Tifton campus or in Bainbridge, you are an integral part of the ABAC community and have full access to the opportunities and support offered through Student Affairs.
I encourage you to get involved, explore your interests, and take full advantage of all that ABAC has to offer. This is your journey—make it meaningful.
We are here to support you every step of the way and look forward to celebrating your successes.
Gee haw whoa back, welcome to ABAC.
