ABAC to host Great American Golden Jubilee on July 4
The Georgia Museum of Agriculture (GMA) at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College will celebrate two historic milestones on July 4 with the Great American Golden Jubilee, a free community event commemorating the museum’s 50th anniversary and America’s 250th birthday.
“We are thrilled to welcome everyone to celebrate this huge moment for the Georgia Museum of Agriculture and the United States of America,” ABAC President Tracy Brundage said. “This is a special moment to come together, honor our shared heritage, and celebrate the spirit that defines both our nation and this region.”
Presented by ABAC, the celebration will feature family-friendly activities, food trucks, contests, live entertainment and a spectacular fireworks finale to finish the night.
The event is free and open to the public. Gates open for parking at 3:30 p.m. and activities begin at 4 p.m. at the GMA and continue throughout the evening, culminating with a fireworks show at 9:30 p.m.

- 4-10 p.m. – Food and beverage vendors | Historic Village Main Street
- 4:30 p.m. - Mural unveiling | Drug Store exterior wall
- 5:30-6:30 p.m. - Ticketed meal | GMA East Conference Room, West Conference Room, and Atrium
- 6-7:30 p.m. - Yard games | Gibbs House Field
- 6:15 p.m. – Community welcome | Main Stage
- 6:30 p.m. – Live entertainment: Andy Thomas | Main Stage
