Federal TRIO programs provide academic tutoring, personal counseling, mentoring, financial guidance, and other supports necessary for educational access and retention as well as help students to overcome economic, social, and academic barriers to higher education.

SSS Provides:
- Personal academic advising and support.
- One-on-one student tutoring and mentoring
- Priority registration
- Financial literacy workshops

- FAFSA and scholarship assistance
- Career exploration and development

- Exposure to civic events

How to qualify:
Enroll in at least 12 hours with a GPA of 2.0 or higher
AND at least one of the following:
First-generation student (parents do not have a bachelor's degree)
Financial need (determined by federal guidelines)
AND/OR:
Have a documented physical, learning or mental disability
