Through the School of Arts and Sciences, you can earn a minor in Rural Community Development, choosing one of two tracks, Community Health or Social and Community Development. With this minor you can be prepared with skills and abilities to create positive change in social, economic, political, cultural aspects of rural communities or a role as a health and wellness professional.
With 18 hours of coursework in your minor field, you will have the foundational knowledge and skills to enhance your major studies with a solid understanding of rural community development and the role it plays in our society.
