Program Description
The Bachelor of Science in Business is designed to give students a solid foundation in business that will equip them with useful knowledge and skills to succeed in business. The degree creates professionals who can work in dynamic business settings. Experiential learning within the program enhances students' readiness to compete in a global marketplace.

Key Stakeholders
SSB engages the following distinctive segments of stakeholders:
- Students are the primary beneficiaries of educational programs and extracurricular activities. Other factors that we consider about our student population to build trust and community include: knowing students’ age, cultural background, language preferences, and educational history allows us to design events and support services that reflect the interests and needs of first-generation students, working adults, and multilingual groups.

- Staff support the administrative functions required to operate the business units.
- Business Advisory Council (BAC) provides strategic guidance to the dean of Stafford School of Business. The BAC is composed of profit and nonprofit agencies that collaborate with us on certain initiatives and often provide internships. High Schools and K-12 Academies work with us for pipeline recruitment.
- Business Alumni are graduates who maintain a connection with the institution and contribute to its development.

Faculty Profile of Dr. Diantha Ellis
Excellence in Teaching
Diantha Ellis, JD, is dedicated to the profession of teaching as evidenced by earning the 2024 W. Bruce and Rosalyn Ray Donaldson Award for Teaching Excellence at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.

Service & Leadership
Beyond the classroom, Dr. Ellis created the first enterprise mentoring program for faculty at ABAC. The program named ABAC Mentors was deployed spring 2025. She has also served at Faculty Senate President (2 terms), and Student Government Association club advisor for three consecutive years.
Dr. Ellis supports quality programming related to club projects and promoting student engagement at Stafford School of Business.
