Children of all ages can ride the North Pole Express to see Santa Claus on Dec 4 – Dec. 7 and Dec. 11 – Dec. 14 at the Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College Georgia Museum of Agriculture.
North Pole Express tickets will be available beginning Nov. 12 at 9 a.m. online at link.abac.edu/North-Pole-Express
Tickets are $20 per person and must be purchased in advance. Tickets will not be sold at the event. Children one year of age and under are free. Children two years of age and older must have a ticket. There is a limit of 10 tickets per person.
Early access to North Pole Express tickets can be had during the Museum’s Country Store Open House on Saturday, November 9 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Visitors who purchase $20 worth of merchandise will gain early access to early purchase North Pole Express tickets. This offer is only available during the hours of 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on November 9.
Guests will begin their journey in the Elves’ Work Room where Santa’s elves will read the holiday classic, “The Polar Express.” Guests will then board the North Pole Express to travel to Claus’s Cottage, where guests can visit with Santa Claus and his elves. Hot chocolate and cookies will await guests after their visit with Santa. Photo opportunities abound throughout this festive holiday event.
The Museum’s 1917 Vulcan steam locomotive will depart for the North Pole every 20 minutes from 5 – 8:20 p.m. on the eight nights of the event.
Guests are encouraged to arrive a few minutes before their scheduled session for the best experience possible. The train cars are open-air, and it is recommended that guests dress according to the weather.
