TIFTON—From bull riding to bronco busting, rodeo fans will watch fearless cowboys and cowgirls in action at the annual Gee Haw Whoa Back Rodeo on April 5-6 at 7 p.m. at the rodeo arena at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for those 6-18 years old. Children five and under will be admitted at no charge. ABAC students will also be admitted at no charge with a current ABAC ID.
ABAC Alumni Director Lynda Fisher said current members of the ABAC Alumni Association will receive one free ticket. Alumni Association members will need to pre-register on-line or by phone to receive their ticket. The rodeo is a part of the annual Homecoming Week at the college.
Events include saddle bronco riding, bareback riding, bull riding, team roping, calf roping, steer wrestling, break-away roping, and barrel racing. On the final night of the rodeo, the winner of the Stallion Cup will be announced. The Stallion Cup goes to the campus club or organization at ABAC that earns the most points during Homecoming Week.
