Wildlife Technician
School of Agriculture and Natural Resources
Daniel Alauzen is the wildlife technician in the Department of Forest Resources and facilitates classes, labs, and day-to-day operations within the department. Dan received his Bachelor of Science in Wildlife and Fisheries Science from the Pennsylvania State University in December, 2016. Before coming to ABAC, Dan worked for the Michigan DNR as a wildlife assistant helping manage state wildlife/game areas. Dan works in the wildlife field because he loves being outside and learning about the natural world.

Outside of work, Dan enjoys pursuing a very active lifestyle. He has completed two half marathons and two full marathons. In addition to running, he also enjoys weightlifting and competitive arm wrestling, but his true passion lies in playing sports—soccer, hockey, basketball, baseball, football, just to name a few.
