Schedule

1.

Friday

  • Check in for registered parents and guests will begin at 4:00 pm at the Lakeside Grand Lobby.
  • The ABAC AET Club will host its Truck & Tractor Pull at ABAC’s pulling track (across from the baseball field) beginning at 7:00 pm. Registered family members will receive a discount on admission to the event. A concession stand will be available with proceeds benefitting the ABAC Agronomy Club’s annual Farm Tour trip.
  • The ABAC Student Government Association will be having a fun, family-friendly event at 6:00 pm in the Lakeside Multipurpose Room.
2.

Saturday

  • The School of Agriculture and Natural Resources will be giving tours of the J.G. Woodroof Farm from 9:00 am – 11:00 am.
  • The Wiregrass Farmers Market will be open from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm behind the Country Store at the Georgia Museum of Agriculture. At this market, you will find locally grown produce, fresh baked goods, artisan crafts, and more.
  • Visit the Family Fun Festival from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm on the Lakeside Lawn. Enjoy inflatable obstacle course, live music from the Old Hats band, a fun, family-friendly event hosted by the ABAC Residence Hall Association, and arts and crafts vendors from the Tifton Council for the Arts!
  • Students and their families can enjoy a free meal inside the Donaldson Dining Hall with ticket from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm or visit one of Tifton’s local restaurants.
  • Fillies Soccer Game vs Gordon State College at Fillies Soccer Field at 3:00 p.m.
  • The Stallion Shop (bookstore) will be open 10:00 am – 2:00 pm for you to purchase all of your favorite Stallion gear.
  • The Georgia Museum of Agriculture will be open 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. The grounds of the Museum include the 1890s progressive farmstead, a rural town, the National Peanut Complex, and the Museum of Agriculture Center. Students are admitted for free with their Gold Card and 50% off discount on admission for guest with ticket.
  • The Country Store at the Georgia Museum of Agriculture will be open 9:00 am – 6:00 pm. The store features hand-scooped ice cream, popcorn, gifts and more. Admission for the museum and historic village can be purchased at the Country Store.
  • The ABAC AET Club Truck & Tractor Pull will continue at ABAC’s pulling track (across from the baseball field) beginning at 7:00 pm.
3.

Sunday

  • The ABAC National Residence Hall Honorary will be giving out free donuts and coffee at 9:00 am in the Lakeside Grand Lobby.
  • The ABAC BCM will be hosting “Church in the Chapel” from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm in Driggers Hall.
