ABOUT Clubs and Organizations

College is an exciting and new experience, ABAC provides limitless opportunities to try new things and meet new people. Between living in the dorms, cheering on our Stallions at baseball games and getting involved in various on-campus organizations, it is impossible to not  have fun!

It is ABAC’s desire that students not only learn in the classroom, but grow and develop as individuals through their experiences on campus. From the Stallion Welcome Week to the various other orientations, at ABAC you are encouraged to get involved. The students at ABAC share a sense of purpose and drive that unites them in their pursuit of education and their long term goals. While at ABAC, we encourage you to take advantage of the many different opportunities available to you.

2018-19 ABAC Ambassadors

ABAC Ambassadors

The ABAC Ambassadors, a select group of students chosen for their enthusiasm, premier leadership ability and exceptional communication skills, represent ABAC in Tifton and across the state of Georgia. The ABAC Ambassadors provide official campus tours, host visiting dignitaries and assist with on-campus functions. The Ambassadors are the face of ABAC.

Student Government Association (SGA)

SGA is to act as an agent in the presentation of matters of student welfare, to advise in all matters affecting the affairs of the student body, to promote and further the interests of the student body, and to develop the leadership potential of the students of the College.

ABAC Student Government is the students’ voice to the administration.  Please attend our meetings and let us know what we can do for YOU.

All students welcome and encouraged to attend Student Government Meetings.

Greek Life at ABAC

ABAC recognizes the value of social Greek organization as a co-curricular experience that provides students with unique leadership and social opportunities. They support the overall objective of the college to encourage academic enhancement and personal development of the members. Through living together in on-campus housing, students in these organizations are able to develop a sense of camaraderie.

Through various Greek organizations, students can learn a variety of skills and be provided with a variety of experience that may not be available in a classroom.

Greek organizations at ABAC include Alpha Gamma Rho, Kappa Sigma, Lambda Sigma Upsilon, Sigma Alpha, Alpha Sigma Alpha (ASA), and Sigma Gamma Rho.
