ABAC recognizes the value of social Greek organizations as a co-curricular experience that provides students with unique leadership and social opportunities. They support the overall objective of the college to encourage academic enhancement and personal development of the members. Through living together in on-campus housing, students in these organizations are able to develop a sense of camaraderie.

ABOUT Greek Life

Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity
Founded at Ohio State University in 1904, Alpha Gamma Rho prides itself on creating men for the past 100 years. As both a social and professional fraternity, AGR provides students with the opportunity to get more out of their college experience. Though historically AGR has been an agricultural fraternity, AGR now welcomes students pursuing careers in agriculture, natural resources, life sciences, and other related fields.
Through membership in the AGR fraternity, students gain valuable leadership experience, excel academically, participate in local community service projects and create a truly memorable college experience.

Sigma Alpha Sorority
Sigma Alpha is a professional agricultural organization that promotes scholarship, leadership, service, and fellowship among its members. The sorority was founded in 1978 at Ohio State University by five women who wanted an alternative to the social Greek sorority system. Since that time, Sigma Alpha has become a national organization consisting of more than 80 chapters, comprised of undergraduate and alumnae members. Today, over 11,000 members have been initiated into Sigma Alpha Sorority. We’re growing steadily as others in agriculture learn about us.

Alpha Sigma Alpha (ASA)
We are an sorority dedicated to developing women of poise and purpose.
We are an organization of sisterhood, heritage, leadership, and service. Alpha Sigma Alpha offers an experience of fun campus activities to a lifetime of community impact. By fostering close friendships between members, Alpha Sigma Alpha develops women of poise and purpose who strive to continue improving the world around them. We inspire women to lead, to serve, and, most of all, to make a difference.
