Freshman

You’ve never attended a college or university, or you attended but are transferring fewer than 30 semester hours of college credit.

  • Submit an online application via GAFutures.org and pay a $20 non-refundable application fee
  • Submit official high school transcripts
  • Submit official SAT or ACT scores

Homeschooled

You were homeschooled or graduated from an unaccredited high school.

  1. Submit an online application via GAFutures.org and pay a $20 non-refundable application fee
  2. Submit your homeschool portfolio

Transfer

You’ve attended an accredited college or university and will have at least 30 semester hours of transferable credit.

  1. Submit an online application via GAFutures.org and pay a $20 non-refundable application fee
  2. Submit official college transcripts from every institution attended

*If you have less than 30 hours of transferable credit, you will need to submit an official high school transcript and SAT or ACT scores if you graduated from high school within the past five years.

Dual Enrollment

You are in high school and are seeking to enroll for college credit.

The Georgia Department of Education pays full tuition and the College provides textbooks. The only cost associated with Dual Enrollment will be lab fees for science courses.

Former/Readmit

You have not attended ABAC within the last three terms.

  1. Submit Readmit Application
  2. Submit Lawful Presence
  3. Submit official transcripts from any college you attended since you left ABAC
  4. Submit a Certificate of Immunization if you haven’t attended within the past five years

 

You have attended ABAC within the last three terms.

  1. Contact your advisor for registration. There is no need to apply again.

Non-traditional

You have been out of high school for at least five years, and whose high school graduation was at least five years ago, and hold a high school diploma from an accredited or approved high school, and have earned less than 30 transferable credit hours.

  1. Submit an online application via GAFutures.org and pay a $20 non-refundable application fee
  2. Submit official high school transcripts
  3. Submit official GED Scores, if applicable
  4. Submit official copy of transcripts from every institution attended since high school, if applicable

Transient

You are currently enrolled in another accredited college or university and plan to enroll in ABAC classes for one term only then will transfer the courses back to your home institution.

  1. Submit a Transient Application
  2. Pay a $20 non-refundable application fee
  3. Submit a Certificate of Immunization
  4. Submit a Transient Permission Form
  5. Submit Lawful Presence

*You must submit a transcript request in order for ABAC to send an official transcript to your home institution at the end of the term.

International

You were born outside of the United States or its territories; or completed secondary education outside the United States or its territories; or underwent coursework at any college or university outside the United States or its territories.

  1. Submit an online application via GAFutures.org & pay a $20 non-refundable application fee
  2. Submit an official English translation with his or her secondary school transcripts
  3. Submit TOEFL Scores
  4. Submit official SAT or ACT Scores
  5. Show financial independence or sponsorship by completing the Certificate of Financial Support form, and submit bank statements for the past six months.

GED

You’ve earned a General Education Diploma (GED).

  1. Submit an online application via GAFutures.org and pay a $20 non-refundable application fee
  2. Submit official high school transcripts from accredited high school for all course work attempted
  3. Submit official GED Scores
  4. Submit official SAT/ACT scores, if class would have graduated within past five years 
  5. Submit official college transcripts from every institution attended since high school, if applicable

Post-baccalaureate

You already hold a baccalaureate or higher degree

  1. Submit an online application via GAFutures.org and pay a $20 non-refundable application fee
  2. Submit official transcripts from every institution attended since high school

Senior Citizen

You are 62 years of age or older and wish to attend as a regular student or an auditor, on a space available basis, without payment of fees except for supplies and laboratories.

  2. Submit official college transcripts from every institution attended

*If you have less than 30 hours of transferable credit, you will need to submit official high school transcript.
