ABOUT Accepted Students

Congratulations on your acceptance to ABAC and welcome to the Stallion family! You’ve made an excellent decision and investment in your future. We’re excited to have you. On this page you will find all the information necessary to complete your registration and submit all the right forms to fulfill your specific needs. Let’s get started!

Freshman

You’ve never attended a college or university, are a current high school student regardless of hours, or you attended but are transferring fewer than 30 semester hours of college credit.

  1. Submit a Certificate of Immunization
  2. Submit Lawful Presence
  3. Submit final high school transcripts upon graduation
  4. Submit official college transcripts if participating in Dual Enrollment
  5. Submit the Freshman Residency Requirement with a $235 deposit or complete the Housing Waiver, if within a 50 mile radius
  6. Complete the FAFSA or pay a $250 deposit
  7. Satisfy the Financial Authorization Agreement
  8. Attend Orientation

Once all of these requirements have been met, you will be assigned an orientation date. 

Homeschool

You were homeschooled or graduated from an unaccredited high school.

  1. Submit a Certificate of Immunization
  2. Submit Lawful Presence
  3. Submit final transcripts upon graduation
  4. Submit official college transcripts if participating in Dual Enrollment
  5. Submit the Freshman Residency Requirement with a $235 deposit or complete the Housing Waiver, if within a 50 mile radius
  6. Complete the FAFSA or pay a $250 deposit
  7. Satisfy the Financial Authorization Agreement
  8. Attend Orientation

Once all of these requirements have been met, you will be assigned an orientation date. 

Transfer

You’ve attended an accredited college or university and will have at least 30 semester hours of transferable credit.

  1. Submit a Certificate of Immunization
  2. Submit Lawful Presence
  3. Submit final transcripts upon completion of semester
  4. Complete the FAFSA or pay a $250 deposit
  5. Submit the Freshman Residency Requirement with a $235 deposit or complete the Housing Waiver
  6. Satisfy the Financial Authorization Agreement 
  7. Attend Orientation

Once all of these requirements have been met, you will be assigned an orientation date. 

Former/Readmit

You have not attended ABAC within the last three terms.

  1. Satisfy the Financial Authorization Agreement 
  2. Contact your advisor for registration

Non-Traditional

You have been out of high school for at least 5 years, and your high school graduation was at least five years ago, and you earned a high school diploma from an accredited or approved high school, and you have earned less than 30 transferable credit hours.

  1. Submit a Certificate of Immunization
  2. Submit Lawful Presence 
  3. Submit final high school transcripts
  4. Submit official college transcripts, if applicable
  5. Submit the Freshman Residency Requirement with a $235 deposit or complete the Housing Waiver
  6. Complete the FAFSA or pay a $250 deposit
  7. Satisfy the Financial Authorization Agreement
  8. Attend Orientation

Once all of these requirements have been met, you will be assigned an orientation date. 

Transient

You are currently enrolled in another accredited college or university, plan to enroll in ABAC classes for one term only, and will transfer the courses back to your home institution.

  1. Register for classes once accepted and registration is available
  2. Contact Academic Support at asc@abac.edu for registration

*You must submit a transcript request in order for ABAC to send an official transcript to your home institution at the end of the term.

International

You were born outside of the United States or its territories; or completed secondary education outside the United States or its territories; or underwent coursework at any college or university outside the United States or its territories.

  1. Submit a Certificate of Immunization
  2. Submit final high school transcripts with English translation upon graduation
  3. Submit official college transcripts, if applicable
  4. Submit the Freshman Residency Requirement with a $235 deposit
  5. Pay a $250 deposit
  6. Satisfy the Financial Authorization Agreement
  7. Submit a Copy of Passport/Visa
  8. Work with Student Accounts for Insurance
  9. Attend Orientation

Once all of these requirements have been met you will be assigned an orientation date. 

GED

You’ve earned a General Education Diploma (GED).

  1. Submit a Certificate of Immunization
  2. Submit Lawful Presence
  3. Submit official final college transcripts, if applicable
  4. Satisfy the Financial Authorization Agreement
  5. Submit the Freshman Residency Requirement with a $235 deposit or complete the Housing Waiver
  6. Complete the FAFSA or pay a $250 deposit
  7. Attend Orientation

Once all of these requirements have been met you will be assigned an orientation date. 

Post Baccalaureate

You already hold a baccalaureate or higher degree.

  1. Submit a Certificate of Immunization
  2. Satisfy Lawful Presence
  3. Satisfy the Financial Authorization Agreement
  4. Register for classes

Senior Citizen

You are 62 years of age or older and wish to attend as a regular student or as an auditor on a space available basis without payment of fees except for supplies and laboratories.

  1. Submit a Certificate of Immunization
  2. Submit Lawful Presence
  3. Submit final high school transcripts
  4. Submit official college transcripts, if applicable
  5. Satisfy a Financial Authorization Agreement
  6. Attend Orientation

Once all of these requirements have been met you will be assigned an orientation date. 

Orientation

Orientation is your first step to a bright future at ABAC. The purpose of  Orientation is to ensure that new undergraduate students have a successful transition and integration into college life. Orientation promotes discussion among parents, new students, continuing students, and faculty and staff on the expectations and perceptions of the campus community.
