ANSWER:

There are THREE steps you can take to improve the speed of WebCT Vista:

First:
Check the amount of space allocated for temporary internet files in your browser:

Step 1.  In Internet Explorer (IE) click Tools
Step 2.  Click Internet Options
Step 3.  Click Settings...  Increase the setting for temporary files "Amount of disk space to use:" so that it is 20,000MB.

Second:
Confirm that you only have ONE version of the Java Plugin on your computer. 

• PC Users:  To un-install any existing versions and then re-install the correct plugin on your PC, please click here. 
• MAC Users:  If you are using a MAC, please click here to determine which version of the Java plugin you have on your computer.  To remove a version of the Java plugin, please click here.

Third:
Delete your browser cache.  To do this, click here.
