Vista: Modify Columns from Import

Modify Settings for 1-3 Columns:

  1. Go to the section in Vista

  2. Teach [tab]

  3. Grade Book [icon]

  4. Column Settings [button] -- top right of screen

  5. Change Type from Text [link] to Numeric -- New Value is Numeric, Save [button], Apply [button]

  6. Change Released to Student from No [link] to Yes

  7. Change Grade Column from No [link] to Yes

Modify Settings for 4+ Columns:

  1. Go to the section in Vista

  2. Teach [tab]

  3. Grade Book [icon]

  4. Column Settings [button] -- top right of screen

  5. Change Type from Text [link] to Numeric -- New Value is Numeric, Save [button], Apply [button] -- Must convert these individually.

  6. Change Released to Student, select the checkbox to the left of Select All/None [checkbox], Release [button] -- at bottom of screen

  7. Change Grade Column, select the checkbox to the left of Select All/None [checkbox], Grade [pull-down] -- at bottom of screen, select Yes [pull-down], Green arrow.
