Upward Bound is one of the TRiO programs funded by the U.S. Department of Education. The primary goal of the ABAC Upward Bound Program is to assist students in Atkinson, Ben Hill, Berrien, Colquitt, Cook, Irwin, Tift, Turner, and Worth counties in completing high school and successfully pursuing post-secondary training. Upward Bound strives to instill in its participants a desire to do their best in any situation.
How can Upward Bound help you?

Meet one Saturday a month for Academic Enrichment

Twice a week after school tutoring at your local high school

Six-week summer residential program which focuses on academic enrichment in a college atmosphere while becoming familiar with benefits and challenges of college life.

Group and individual guidance counseling

Monthly seminars on self-improvement in areas such as
**academic, attitude, personal relations and goal setting

Career Counseling exploration

Academic Counseling regarding course selection, study skills and motivation.

Field trips to universities, colleges, technical schools, cultural and educational events

How to qualify to become an ABAC Upward Bound participant
