The ABAC Turf Club will be host the Spring Fling Shootout - 2 Man Scramble Thursday April 12, 2012 at Forest Lakes GC, Tifton, GA starting at 1:00 pm. Golf will be $30/team ($15/person). For more information check out the following...

Honors Day 2012:

Mrs. Lauren Hall was the big winner at the 2012 ABAC Honors Day bringing home the Discipline Award and Award of Distinction for the School of Agriculture and Natural Resources. Mr. Chris Pitts, who was also in attendance, received recognition for being an Honor Student.

The ABAC Turf Program would like to thank Pike Creek Turf for their time and providing lunch to the over 40 students in attendance.

Fall 2011 Graduation:

Six BAS Turfgrass Management students graduated Friday (Dec. 9, 2011), Brock Alexander, Blake Edore, John Grist, Jackson Holibaugh, Austin Lawton (Magna Cum Laude) and Patrick Tully.

Lauren Hall, Club Secertary, graduated with an AAS degree in Landscape Design, while William Rogers completed an AAS in Turf Management. Rogers also recieved the prestigious Donaldson Award at the commencement ceremony.

Spaghetti Dinner Great Success! Turf Club hosted a spaghetti dinner and Bingo night Thur. (Dec. 1, 2011), which raised money for the upcoming trip to 2012 Golf Industry Show and GCSAA Education Conference: February 27 – March 2, 2012, Las Vegas, NV.

Bingo night big winner, Mr. Jimmy Felton! After several hard fought rounds of Bingo Jimmy "WarEagle" Felton came out on top, winning rounds of golf at Forest Lakes Golf Course, Tifton, GA and Grand Island Golf Club, Albany, GA.
