  • The Regents' Exam is offered once per semester. ABAC requires all transfer degree students to pass the Regents' Test to graduate. Also, the ADN Nursing degree students graduating under catalogs prior to Fall 2006 are required to pass the Regents' Exam as a graduation requirement.
  • The Academic Assistance Center is designed to help students reach their academic goals through the clarification and explanation of academic concepts. These services are available to all ABAC students at no additional cost.
  • Academic Intervention Management is a program designed to provide students an opportunity to obtain help early. Students pair with mentors to enhance the learning process for greater academic success.
  • Living/Learning Communities are formed each Fall Semester as a way to foster friendships and stronger academic communities. Students are grouped according to stated interests and take the same courses for the Fall Semester.
  • ABAC 1000 is a seminar style class that is designed to provide orientation to the institution and to college living that will aid the student in the transistion to the college environment.
  • The Academic Assistance Center offers several Student Success workshops throughout the course of each semester. We encourage the utilization of these workshops for success both at school and in life.
