Study Abroad - Verifying Your Credit
Before you leave your host country, it is advisable to
contact your program leader to make sure that your official transcripts are being sent back to ABAC. In order for a transcript to be considered “official”, it must be sent in a sealed envelope. Transcripts can take many weeks (sometimes a few months) to arrive back at ABAC. If a reasonable amount of time has passed and you have not received confirmation about your transcripts arriving, then contact Rebecca Cofer at the Academic Support Center to help track down your records. It is vital that your credit transfers after the end of your program, especially if you received financial aid.
For European Council Programs, students register and receive direct credit from ABAC so credits transferring back are not an issue. If a student goes abroad through another school, these credits will need to be transferred back via official transcripts.
