At the Career Development Center the counselor encourages students to utilize the resources available in the Student Development Center. The Center uses a structured process which consists of:

  • DISCOVER, a computer-based career planning program used to help students learn more about themselves, careers, educational choices, financial aid and transfer institutions.
  • Practical activities to assist students in clarifying and defining their goals and interests.

The Career Development Center offers an individualized planning process; in addition, an array of information is available about students’ interests, abilities, experience and values, and how these fit in a step-by-step approach to planning a career.
