Alpha Gamma Rho

Founded at Ohio State University in 1904, Alpha Gamma Rho prides itself on creating men for  the past 100 years. As both a social and professional fraternity, AGR provides students with the opportunity to get more out of their college experience. Though historically AGR has been an agricultural fraternity, AGR now welcomes students pursuing careers in agriculture, natural resources, life sciences and other related fields.

Through membership in the AGR fraternity, students gain valuable leadership experience, excel academically, participate in local community service projects and create a truly memorable college experience.

Kappa Sigma Receives Service Award

The brothers of the Rho-Rho Chapter of Kappa Sigma were honored recently at the Tift County Quality Steer and Heifer show as the “Supporter of the Year”. The selection committee that chose Kappa Sigma was comprised of parents and advisors of 4-H and FFA who have worked with the students this past year. The committee honored the boys with a custom belt buckle to express their appreciation.

$62,500 Raised for Student Scholarship

Thanks to the generosity of the patrons in a sellout crowd, the ABAC Foundation raised $62,500 for student scholarships during the recent gala titled “An Evening for ABAC”. Attendees included Governor Nathan Deal and his wife, Sandra; University System of Georgia Chancellor Hank Huckaby and his wife, Amy; and Georgia Commissioner of Agriculture Gary Black and his wife, Lydia. ABAC students (l-r) Kevin Vantrees, Sam Jones, Slayten Carter, Madison Lynn, and Page Johnson posed for a picture with Governor and Mrs. Deal.
