Rural Studies Club
The Rural Studies Club (RSC) developed to help students get to know each other outside the major. The RSC is a co-curricular club which provides an opportunity for the development of leadership and service for students. The goal is to expand the learning environment outside the classroom through events, outside activities, guest speakers, service and trips.
You do not have to be Rural Studies major to join.
In 2015-2016 we will meet at least once per month. Additional meetings will occur when we are involved in specific activities. In the past few years the RSC has been involved in events all over campus and within the community.
The purpose of this organization is co-curricular. The club will provide an opportunity for the development of leadership and service, ensure the promotion of the Rural Studies program at ABAC both on and off campus and aid in the recruitment of new students for the Rural Studies program. However, the club will also expand the learning environment outside the classroom through the use of trips, special guest speakers and special events.

We have officers for 2015-2016. In March or April of 2016 we will hold elections for 2016-2017 officers, including president, vice president, secretary/treasurer, and ICC representative. The officer application form is available here: 2016-2017 RSC Officer Application .
