Rural Studies ClubAbout The Rural Studies Club developed to help students get to know each other outside the major. The Rural Studies club is a co-curricular club which provides an opportunity for the development of leadership and service for students. The goal is to expand the learning environment outside the classroom through events, outside activities, guest speakers, service and trips. You do not have to be Rural Studies Major to join. We usually meet twice a month and have been involved in events all of campus and within the community. Mission The purpose of this organization is co-curricular. The club will provide an opportunity for the development of leadership and service, ensure the promotion of the Rural Studies program at ABAC both on and off campus and aid in the recruitment of new students for the Rural Studies program. However, the club will also expand the learning environment outside the classroom through the use of trips, special guest speakers and special events.
