Stallions take double header

By Dallas Hudgens
Staff Writer
After a rough start for the Stallions, they have earned their first two wins of the season against Wallace Community College.  The Stallions have had a hard time hitting the ball this year along with a plague of errors each game. This young team may be having a hard time adjusting to more left handed pitchers or a faster ball but for whatever reason, the Stallions have had a hard time scoring this year.

After   having two  high scoring  games against Tallahassee Community College, the Stallions picked up their hitting gloves and started whacking the ball against Wallace Community College. The team pulled together for both games, got out of a few binds, and finished up with a 4-2 victory in the first game.  The hits continued for the second game where they scored five runs and only allowed three.  The pitchers were throwing well and the fielders were making plays in Saturday’s game.

The Stallions will be hosting Chattahoochee Valley Community College February twelfth and Thomas University the thirteenth.
