Coach Martinez on Kali: “When I first met Kali, I saw her as a catcher. However, after having her show me her skills at 1st base, I was sold. Kali is so beyond talented both offensively and defensively. After a minor setback in the fall with an injury, she has come back more ready and motivated to get back after it. Her fighting spirit shows in her skills with the determination to always get better. Kali is also a great student. She will be a huge part of the team this season.”

High School: Kali went to Wayne County High School where she play varsity softball all four years. In those four years she received, Scholar Athlete Award, Scholastic Achievement Award, All-Region First Team, and Most Outstanding Defensive Player.

Personal: Kali Price was born May 20, 1997 to Billy and Evette Price. She has two older brothers, Chris and Lewis Price. She is majoring in Forestry. In her free time she likes to play the drums.

Why ABAC? “I chose ABAC because it’s a small but beautiful campus, and it is the best place for me to get my Forestry Degree.”

College Stats:

2015-2016 (Freshman):

Kali started and played in 34 games for the Fillies team. She batted .269 on the year, had 10 RBIs, while scoring 10. Price also had one stolen base on the year.

For the team, She also was fifth on the team with 28 hits including one double. Kali had a fielding percentage of .968 and lead the team in putouts with 208 in the field.
