Ashley Pevey

Coach Martinez on Ashley:

Ashley brings quickness to the ABAC softball program both offensively and defensively. Her great attitude and desire to continuously improve is going to help her grow and develop with each game she plays in. Ashley is going to be a huge asset to our outfield.

High School:

Ashley attended Effingham County High School. She played Varsity softball all four years of high school. Her freshman and sophomore year they one the region championship. Her freshman year of high school they made it to the sweet 16. Her sophomore year they made it to the elite 8, her junior year they made it to the first round of state. Her senior year she was one of three seniors to sign to play college softball.


Ashley Michelle Pevey was born on June 24, 1998 to Scott and Amy Pevey.  She grew up in the town of Rincon, Georgia. Her biggest supporter is her sister Erin Pevey. She is planning to major in a Business. Outside of softball she enjoys going to the lake, hanging out with friends and family, and watching TV, and working out. One fun fact about Ashley is that she was the first girl born in her family in 63 years.

Why ABAC? 

I choose ABAC because of how homey it felt when I was visiting. The coaches where also a big part to me choosing ABAC, they where so nice and welcomed me in like they had known me all my life. After visiting with other schools ABAC was the best fit for me, it was small and a great college.
