Bailey Jackson

Bailey Jackson

Freshman    P     Rome, GA    21   Bats R/Throws R

Martinez about Bailey: “Bailey became my project this fall for me to rebuild her pitching mechanics and go back to basics. All fall she was keeping things simple with working solely on mechanics and fundamentals. Her willingness to trust me and trust in the process have paid off. I see Bailey being a huge help with the pitching staff this season. Her desire to improve each day on the mound is what will contribute to her quick progress.”

High School: Bailey threw shot-put and discus in track, played basketball, and softball for four years at Pepperell High School. She was also named to the 1st All-Region team her junior and senior year in 7-AA. She was also awarded best offensive player her senior year.

Personal: Bailey was born on August 17, 1996, to Hank Jackson and Allison Jackson. Bailey was born and raised in Rome, GA and is an only child. She enjoys riding horses, fishing, rodeo, and playing softball. She is majoring in Animal Science.

Why ABAC? “I chose ABAC because I had the opportunity to play softball for Coach Campbell and I loved her enthusiasm and her love for the game. I felt that my team was going to be successful and that I would also be a success. ABAC’s campus is beautiful and I felt right at home. I loved that I had the opportunity to be able to fish at Lake Baldwin and could even board my horse here. My college experience has been great so far and I could not ask for a better college than ABAC. I plan to transfer to UGA to continue on with my career goals after my two years at ABAC.”
