Morgan Bell #19 Sophomore
At ABAC: “Morgan pitched 104.1 innings last year as a freshman and won 5 games for the Fillies. She recorded 35 strikeouts as well.”
Campbell on Morgan: “I am happy to have Morgan return for the Fillies this season. She gained valuable experience last season on the mound which should pay off for her in 2013. She is a hard worker and I expect her to have a great year on the mound.”
High School: Morgan attended Worth County High School where she played four years of varsity softball. Her sophomore year she received Honorable Mention All-Region, her junior year she was awarded 2nd team All-Region, and her senior year she was a member of the 1st team All-Region. She was also a part of tennis and rodeo teams.
Personal: Morgan was born August 8, 1993 in Worth County. Her parents are Cliff and Katie Bell. She has a half sister Summer who attends Lee County High School. She loves riding horses, being around family and friends, playing tennis and softball. She is majoring in Allied Health.
Why ABAC? I choose ABAC because it is very close to home and being able to play softball. Coach Campbell was nice and made me feel welcome. During the recruiting process she was easy to talk to and always had time to answer my questions.
