Campbell on Lauren:  “Lauren came to us from Camden County and was a huge asset to our 2012 team.  It’s always nice to have a returning shortstop to anchor your infield and I expect Lauren to have a banner sophomore year and will be a great prospect for the 4 year colleges to recruit.”

High School: Lauren was a four year varsity starter for Camden County High School. As a sophomore, junior, and senior player she was part of the 3-AAAAA Region Championship teams.   She was named All-Region her junior and senior years.  She was an All-State Honorable Mention player her junior year and 2nd Team All-State her senior year.

Personal: Lauren was born May 3, 1993 to George D. and Rhonda Thrasher. She has a younger brother Ethan who goes to Camden County High School. She loves spending time with her family and friends, and playing softball. She is majoring in Physical Therapy.

Why ABAC? I chose ABAC because it is close to home and was excited to have the chance to keep playing softball. Coach Campbell was friendly and she and her team made me feel welcomed when I came to tryout.
