At ABAC:  “Kim played in 45 games as a freshmen; mainly starting games at 1st base.  Kim had 149 plate appearances last season which she hit 17 singles and 2 doubles.  Kim drove in 9 runs and scored 8 runs.”

Campbell on Kimberly:  “Kimberly gained valuable experience as a freshmen; with the majority of her starts playing 1st base.  She is a fundamentally sound player who has the ability to contribute with her bat.  I expect really good things from Kim this season.”

High School:  Kimberley went to Alexander High School where she played four years on the Varsity softball  team. She received honorable mention All-Region her junior year and Second Team All-Region her senior year.

Personal:  Kimberley was born on February 21, 1993 in Austell, Georgia. She lives with her parents Tim and Tabitha Turner and has two sisters Katelynn and Bethany. Along with softball Kim enjoys other sports and anything outdoors. She likes spending time with her sisters, family and friends.

Why ABAC? I choose ABAC because of the campus size and the apartment style living. Coach Campbell’s attitude also was a help of considering why I chose ABAC. She made me feel welcome and so did all the girls on the team. Having to balance grades and ball, the small campus size was perfect for me.
