Brittany Cannon #19
Campbell on Brittany: “Brittany will be one of our four catchers that will handle the catching duties in 2014. Brittany has the ability to help us with her bat as she had a good hitting fall season. As she works hard and improve I expect her to contribute to the Fillies in many ways in 2014.”
High School: Brittany went to Stephens County High School where she started all 4 years as Varsity catcher. She received best defensive player in 2011 and 2012. Brittany also broke two of her high school records, most bunts in a single season and most triples in a career. Brittany was also in National Technical Honor Society for 2 years and was Secretary of NTHS her senior year. She was also in HOSA for 4 years and FFA for 2 years.
Personal: Brittany was born May 29, 1995 in Toccoa, Ga. to Robin and David Cannon. She has a younger brother, Blake, who plays varsity football for SCHS. Outside of softball she likes to go hunting with her dad and brother, play with her 3 black labs and have girls day with her mom. Brittany also likes to go bow fishing in the summer time.
Why ABAC? I chose ABAC because I love the campus and the people are great! They also have a wonderful Nursing program and there is always fun stuff to do. I also love how it has a small town feel because it makes me feel like I am at home.
