Week 2--Jan 17, 19

Tues--bring handouts "Studying Drama" and "Study Questions for Tartuffe/Moliere." Moliere and Tartuffe first half, 17-64

Thurs--Rest of Tartuffe 64-87.

 

 

Week 3--Jan 24, 26

Tues--India 607-11 and Ramprasad 612+ ("It's This Hope in Hope," "How Many Times, Mother?" and "What's More to Fear Around This Place?"

Thurs--Japan 625-30 and Basho 650-56 (only the info on haiku).

 

 

Week 4--Jan 31, Feb 2

Tues--Saikaku ("What the Seasons Brought") 631-49. China 765-72. Song-Ling ("The Wise Neighbor" and "The Mural") 772-82.

Thurs--catch up, discuss test and look at sample answers

 

 

Week 5--Feb 7, 9
