Introduction To Fiction Writing
A one-hour Humanities Seminar, this course will center on student-produced fiction. Students will draft and revise, in several stages, their own short story or portion of a novel. Class time will be spent developing and revising student work during these classroom activities: invention/discovery activities designed to stimulate creativity, workshopping and revising of works in progress, lessons on craft, discussion/analysis of published models (students will learn to read as writers).
