Spring 2010 Staff Forum/Call Meeting
February 17, 2010
Welcome and
Invocation – Nancy Anthony called the meeting to order at 3:30 p.m. in the
Guest Speakers – Keith Barber, Vice President, External Affairs and Advancement and Bobbie Baldree, Administrative Associate Office of College Advancement, presented Facilities Scheduling.
New Personnel and
Changes: No new personnel or changes
to personnel status to report.
Old Business:
Approval Minutes:
Minutes from the December 8, 2009 Staff Forum meeting were distributed and reviewed.
The minutes were approved as written. (Chris Kinsey made the motion)
Account Balances: The current balance in the Staff Forum Expendable account is $2,753.94 and is correct per Amanda Bridges.
Corpus Balances – as of June 30, 2009
Roy Jackson Award for Staff Excellence Endowment balance is $35,041.10
Staff Forum Endowment balance is $10,542.32
Earnings – as of June 30, 2009
Roy Jackson Award for Staff
Excellence Earnings balance is -$2,843.60
Staff Forum Earnings balance is -$755.89
Please note that the Tom Turkey
totaling $1895.00 was given to
foundation on 1-26-10 and has not yet been processed. Funds will be deposited
by the end of the week and reflect in the 9015 Staff Forum non-endowed
expendable account balance.
New Business:
Facilities Scheduling:
· Bobbie Baldree presented a power point of changes and how to schedule a facility.
· A copy of the power point is available upon request.
By-Laws Committee report:

The Constitution and Bylaws was distributed for
review.
·
Items that need to be added are in blue and
items in need or revision are in red.
·
Chris Kinsey approved the changes.
Valentine Committee report:
· If we get enough volunteers, we will do a small bake sale and balloon sale.
February Staff Information Fair:
·
There are no objections to us hosting it on
Wednesday, February 24, 2010.
Announcements: February 4, 2010 BCM and Culture of Latina are sponsoring a monetary donation for Haiti relief in front of the Dining Hall from 11:00 to 2:00.
Adjournment: There being no other business, the meeting was adjourned at 4:15 p.m.
