The CA Job Description
- Approximately 8 to 12 hours per week assisting in the
Student Life & Housing Office
- 2 to 3 weekends per semester on-call
- 1 night per week on-call
- Assist with check-in, check-out, and room changes
- Room Inspection every other week
The CA will also serve in the following roles for
residents at ABAC Place and Lakeside:
- Educator
- Community Builder
- Information Source
- Helper
- Campus Resource Person
- Mediator
- Programmer
- Policy Enforcer
- Role Model
- Staff Member
Most importantly, the CA is a student first and must balance all of the above roles with the responsibilities of being a student
