Welcome to Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College’s website about Disability Services, as we are pleased you
are considering or are attending ABAC. Disability Services are provided through
the Student Development Center. The Center
is a multipurpose, multidimensional department of the
Student Affairs Division.
The Student Development Center addresses personal, academic, educational,
intellectual, physical, career development, career placement, recreational,
cultural and social growth and development to promote the success of prospective
and current students, as well as alumni, faculty and staff.
Thank you for looking into
our webpage and the services we wish to provide. This web site was developed as
a resource for prospective and current students, faculty and staff of Abraham
Baldwin Agricultural College who have been diagnosed with a disability, who may
work with or be acquainted with an individual diagnosed with a disability, or
who may wish to learn about disabilities. This site provides information about
the rights of those diagnosed with a disability. If you instruct a student
diagnosed with a disability, employ and/or supervise employees diagnosed with
disabilities, you are required by the law to provide approved and appropriate
accommodations. This site provides information about the laws, information
necessary to meet your obligations and responsibilities under the law,
frequently asked questions, policies and procedures, resource information and
much more.
