The Human Services program
is designed to serve the following objectives:

To contribute to the enrichment of general education by
helping a student know and understand social welfare needs, services,
and issues.

To prepare a student for immediate employment in social
welfare positions not requiring the bachelor’s degree or graduate work
in Human Services.

To prepare a student for immediate employment in one of
the other human services occupations.
