Individuals completing this program will be better equipped for the daily
management and operation of an equine facility. They will have acquired
the basic skills to work with computer software programs designed around
computer spreadsheet and word processing applications. Management
activities needed for successful operation of small businesses will also
be learned. The student will be able to implement practices needed for
forage production and management. Individuals completing this program will
be able to deal with horse management and production principles dealing
with horse health care, horse selection and facility design.
