Individuals completing this program will learn basic principles of group
management of infants and preschoolers. An emphasis will be placed on
health and safety, licensing, and general organization of day care
facilities. Individuals will learn personal income management skills, and
the basic principles of nutrition. Individuals will also learn about the
diverse careers in the field of Family and Consumer Sciences. Individuals
will be prepared to work in day care centers.
