President's Welcome

President's Welcome

One-on-one attention from instructors, small class sizes, and lots of smiling faces characterize Georgia's State College of Choice, a place we call ABAC!

At ABAC, we can meet your needs with a curriculum that includes 50 different programs of study. We're proud to offer seven Bachelor’s Degrees in their entirety on our campus including a brand new degree in Rural Studies, one of the most unique academic programs in the country.

Diversified Agriculture, Turfgrass and Golf Course Management, Early Childhood Education, Management, Accounting, and Resource Management round out the list of bachelor’s degrees available to you without ever leaving the campus of ABAC.

You can also choose one of our traditional associate degree programs or you can complete one of our career technological programs and immediately enter the job market.

Choices abound at ABAC. Walking around our 421-acre campus, you’ll see friends from your high school days but you’ll also make new acquaintances from almost every county in Georgia, 17 other states, and 11 countries. Stay on campus in the ABAC Lakeside apartments, take a stroll down our beautiful Pedestrian Mall, eat some great meals in the dining hall or even go for a swim in our Olympic-size pool.

Let us know how we can help you.  Take a regular college class or enroll in one of our many continuingeducation classes.  Come out to a baseball game or catch one of our concerts.  We want our college to be your college.   I’m always open to new ideas on how we can improve our service to the community.

If you have a question, I hope you will come by my office or give me a call.  I look forward to seeing you on our campus.  Make every day an ABAC day!
