ABAC TO OFFER PRIVATE HORSEBACK RIDING LESSONS

TIFTON--Private horseback riding lessons are now available for ages five and up at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College through the Public Service and Business Outreach Center.

ABAC student Natalie Roper will teach the classes, which are offered in four one-hour sessions. Class times can be scheduled from 1-8 p.m. on a Monday through Thursday basis by calling the PSBOC at (229) 391-5070. The cost is $109 per person.

"I have been around horses most of my life," Roper said. "I have worked with all ages from young toddlers to grown adults and the elderly."

There is a limit of one student per class. A horse and tack are provided. Western boots and a helmet are recommended.

"There are basic skills that need to be learned," Roper said. "I, along with my lesson horse, Chief, can teach any level of rider from beginner to experienced."
