LEGO ENGINEERING BEGINS OCTOBER 9 AT ABAC

TIFTON—A LEGO Engineering class begins Oct. 9 at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College through the Public Service and Business Outreach Center. Pre-registration is required.

This class will be held Thursdays, Oct. 9 – Nov. 20, from 4-6 p.m. in Bowen Hall, Room 115. There is a fee of $109. This class is for children ages eight to 12 years old.

Using LEGO Educational Division Materials and LEGO Technic elements, children will learn about gears, levers, wheels, axles, structures, forces and simple machines. This is an integrated science and math class and leads up to the Robotics Academy, where children will build robots.
